D’Tigress qualifies for the FIBA women’s basketball world cup 2022

The Nigerian national female basketball team, D’Tigress arrives back in Nigeria after winning the FIBA Women’s AfroBasket tournament for the third time, after Sunday’s 70-59 win over Mali.

For getting to the finals of the Afrobasket, the D’Tigress and the Malians have qualified for the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022.

Both Nigeria and Mali will be headed to one of the Women’s World Cup 2022 Qualifying Tournaments, which will be staged in February.

The qualifying Tournaments would include World Cup hosts Australia and Olympic champions USA.
