AHEAD 2020 OLYMPICS: 4 OLYMPIC ATHLETES TEST POSITIVE TO COVID-19.

Four Olympic athletes and a few officials from different countries have tested positive to covid-19 in Tokyo and 3 out of the 4 are at the Olympic village.

An American gymnast was earlier announced which made all the rest of her teammates move to separate accommodation as no one else was affected.  Czech beach volleyball player could also miss his opening game as his PCR test also came back positive even though he has been fully vaccinated and he is the 2nd Czech Republic delegation member to test positive to the virus.

In addition, two South African men’s soccer players were also confirmed positive to covid-19 on Sunday.

The players and a team video analyst who have tested positive have been were to the “isolation facility” managed by the Tokyo Olympic organizing committee.
