COVID-19: NIGERIA RECORDS LOWEST NUMBER OF CASES IN ONE YEAR
After ten consecutive days of zero fatality from the COVID-19 virus. Nigeria has also recorded the lowest number of Covid-19 cases in exactly one year.
This brings the country’s total tally to 167,066. The seven new cases were reported from three states. Kwara and Lagos registered three cases each while Rivers state had only one.

The NCDC website as at today (Monday 14th June 2021) states that 2,180,444 samples have been tested. Confirmed cases are 167,066, active cases are placed at 1,506, while the total number of discharged cases is put at 163,463. Death toll is 2,117.
