Children’s Day: President Muhammadu Buhari Plays Host to Nigerian Children in Aso Rock
President Muhammadu Buhari has joined Nigerians across the country to celebrate this year’s #ChildrensDay, today at the State House in Abuja.
In marking this year’s Children’s day celebration, the president received a group of visiting children who were presented with a giant card, a Cake and lots of Nigeria’s national flags.
The visiting children who had lots of fun playing around the villa in Abuja also took pictures with president Buhari while cutting the Children’s Day celebration cake.
The aim of the World Children’s Day celebration is to improve the welfare of children all over the world. It is a day set aside by UNICEF to promote and celebrate children’s rights.
The President also described the children’s day celebration as a special day to recognise, honour and appreciate the children as they are the future of many generations.
