Nigeria’s House of Rep Members Plan 3 days National Security Summit As Way Forward To Security Challenges

A three days National security summit has been organized by the House of Representatives to serve as a conversation platform that would inform its final recommendations towards providing an innovative and practical solution to Nigeria’s lingering security challenges.

The Special Summit on National Security 2021 billed to hold on the 26^th to 29^th of May at the Muhammadu Buhari Conference center, NIA Complex Abuja will amongst other things provide an avenue for frank conversations, gathering of views, opinions, ideas and the recommendation of critical stakeholders in the national security space.

The theme of the three days summit is Strengthening National Security – Comprehensive Assessments and Innovative, all-encompassing solutions across Nigeria.

In a poster seen on the verified Twitter account House of Reps NGR, the parliamentarians stated that the event was necessitated by the incessant and rapid escalation in violence and the general insecurity across Nigeria in recent times.
