Open Grazing Ban: Ondo State Governor Akeredolu to Attorney General Malami “lets meet in court”
Knocks have come the way of the Attorney General of the Federation -AGF and Minister of Justice, Shehu Malami from the Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu for faulting the ban placed on open grazing in the Southern part of the country.
Akeredolu, who is the Chairman of Southern Governors’ Forum in a statement titled, ‘Our decision is irreversible and will be enforced which he personally signed today stated that It is most unfortunate that the AGF is unable to distill issues as expected of a Senior Advocate.

The Ondo state governor in his statement also noted that nothing can be more disconcerting as the outburst from the AGF which he stated that ordinarily should not have elicited response from reasonable people who know the distinction between a legitimate business that is not in anyway injurious and a certain predilection for anarchy.
Malami who yesterday appeared on Channels Television Sunrise daily was quoted to have said that the southern governors ban is akin to banning all spare parts dealers in the Northern parts of the country.
Governor Akeredolu in his statement has however advised the AGF to approach the court to challenge the legality of the Laws of the respective States banning open grazing and the decision of the Southern Governors.
