The Names Of The Five Non-Career Ambassadors Forwarded To The Nigerian Senate By President Muhammadu Buhari On The 5th Of February 2021 Has Been Approved By The Senate.

 

The Senate President Ahmed Lawan Today During The Confirmation Of The Nominees Said The Newly Confirmed Non-Career Ambassadors Have Served Country To The Best Of Their Ability And Asked That The Executive Use Their Military Experiences For The Good Of The Country.

The Names Of Those Confirmed By The Nigerian Senate For The Position Of Non-Career Ambassadors Include Tukur Buratai, Gabriel Olonisakin, Ibok Ibas, Abubakar Sadique And Muhammad S. Usman As Non-Career Ambassadors.

There Confirmation Is Coming Five Days After The Chairman Senate Committee On Foreign Affairs Senator Muhammed Bulkachuwa Confirmed That Their Nomination Is In Line With Section 171(40) Of The 1999 Constitution Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria.
