Lagos State Panel For Victims Of SARS Related Issues Summons IGP, Over Land Case…
The Lagos State Judicial Panel on Restitution for victims of SARS and other related matters has summoned the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, And Three Others In Relation To A CASE Involving A Bed-Ridden 76 Year Old Petitioner, Adewanle Adewuyi Who Appeared Before The Panel Today.
The petitioner is alleging police brutality, And aggravated assault while the police Forcefully Took Over His Land At A Village In Badagry In Dec. 2013.

The 26 Acre Land Is Said To Be Worth Over 800 Million Naira .
His Lawyer, Debo Adeleke Told The Panel Today That The Police Has Continued To Frustrate The Efforts Of The Petitioner To Retrieve His Land Despite The Alternative Dispute Recommendations Made By The Citizens Mediation Center, of the Lagos High Court.
The Panel Has Adjourned To March 31st For A Report Of Settlement On The Matter.
