Nigeria’s FEC approves reopening of Seme and Three other land borders
The Nigerian Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved the reopening of four land borders with immediate effect, while other land borders will remain closed.
The Nigerian Minister of Finance Budget and National Planning Mrs Zainab Ahmed, disclosed this Information this afternoon after the week’s virtual FEC meeting Which was Presided over by The Vice-President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
Ahmed also said restriction on the importation of some commodities, like rice and other products, would however continue to be enforced by the authorities.
The borders opened for now include Seme Border in the Southwest, Ilela Border in the Northwest and two others.
