National Sports Festival Postponed

President Muhammadu Buhari have given approval for the Postponement of the National Sports Festival which was earlier scheduled to begin March 20 to April 6 2020.

In a statement released by presidential spokesperson Femi Adesina states that the decision to Postpone the national sports festival was taken after the president met with the Minister of Sports Sunday Dare and the Minister of State Health Adeleke Mamora in State House on 17th Mar 2020.

The statement also stated that the postponement is necessary as a precautionary move against COVID19.
