3 Presidential Candidates Want February Presidential Election Cancelled…As Atiku Get Permission To Serve Buhari

three presidential candidates have approached the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja Separately, The Presidential candidates of Peoples Democratic Movement, Hope Democratic Party and Coalition For Change, are asking the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal it to void the outcome of the February 23rd presidential election.
In their petitions, the 3 presidential candidates, have urged the tribunal to invoke its powers and quash the declaration of President Muhammad Buhari as the bonafide winner of the 2019 presidential election.
The petitioners all alleged that the election was characterised by irregularities, stating also that the Electoral Act was not substantially complied with by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

In he same vein The Court of Appeal in Abuja has granted permission to the Peoples Democratic Party and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to serve a petition challenging the outcome of the February 23 election, on President Muhammadu Buhari through substituted means.
Justice Abdu Aboki, who led the three-man bench delivered the lead ruling, saying it is in the “interest of justice to grant the prayers in the petitioners (Atiku)” application.
