Valtteri Bottas Wins 2019 Australian F1 Grand Prix

Finland’s Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes Benz has won the 2019 Australian Grand Prix, Bottas finished strongly during the qualifying races making sure he was in the top three all through.

Defending Champion Lewis Hamilton secured the second position on the podium to make it a Mercedes one-two, with Red Bull’s Verstappen taking the final podium spot at the 2019 Australian Grand Prix, at Melbourne Park.

Other Top Ten Finishers were: P4 Vettel, P5 Leclerc, P6, Magnussen, P7 Hulkenberg, P8 Raikkonen, P9 Stroll and P10 Kvyat.

The Other positions were filled by: P11 Gasly, P12 Norris, P13 Perez, P14 Albon, P15 Giovinazzi, P16 Russell and P17 Kubica.

Retirements: There were 3 retirements from Grosjean, Ricciardo and Sainz

This victory puts Bottas at the top of the leader board for drivers as Mercedes top the constructor table. The Next race comes up at the Bahrain International Circuit, Bahrain from the 29-31st of March 2019.
