Zamfara APC Candidates To Contest 2019 General Elections Tomorrow – INEC

Nigeria’s Independent National Electoral Commission has added Zamfara APC Candidates to tomorrow’s Ballot papers.

In a press statement released by the Commission and signed by Mr Festus Okoye National Commissioner and Chairman Information and Voter Education Committee of INEC a few minutes ago, INEC maintained that the body had always based all it’s decisions regarding the “Zamfara APC Candidates” inclusion and non-inclusion on court judgments.

A court of Appeal ruling obtained from the Abuja Judicial Division yesterday Thursday 21st of February 2019 set aside the ruling of the lower court on the matter. “This in effect means that the Zamfara State Hight Court Judgement decision that the APC can field Candidates for the National Assembly, Governorship and State House Of Assembly Elections is the only valid and subsisting order” The statement read.

General Elections are Scheduled to take place across Nigeria Tomorrow Saturday 23rd of February and Saturday 9th March 2019.
