Professor Yemi Osinbajo Denies Resignation Rumours

Nigeria’s Vice president, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has denied rumours making the rounds suggesting that he has resigned his position as Vice President of Nigeria.

Osinbajo took to social media to debunk the speculations, describing them it as “Fake News”.

He said he remains committed to the service of the Nigerian people under President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Vice president described the rumours as part of propaganda which stems from his absence at the last security meeting in Abuja.

He explained that he was too busy in his office while the meeting was underway, adding that the same security chiefs that met with the President held a meeting with him on the same day.
