NNPC Working To Crash The Price Of Cooking Gas
The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation says it is working to crash the price of cooking gas in the country. Group General Manager of NNPC’s Crude Oil Marketing Division, Mele Kyari, who disclosed this in a statement yesterday.
Kyari said that this would be done through an effective commercial framework that would halt the export of propane and butane from the country. According to him the move to stop exportation of propane and butane would enable the Corporation boost supply of LPG to the domestic market. This, he says, would lead to a natural downward slide in the price of the product in the country.
