Rwandan Government Bans Skin Lightening Products

The Rwandan government has announced a ban on cosmetic products used for lightening the skin.
The government has urged citizens to Love the skin they have.

Rwandan president, Paul Kagame, had earlier raised concerns about the growing use of skin-lightening products on social media.

While these “skin lightening cosmetic products” are sold freely in some other African nations a few of the nations that have banned the sale of these products have not been seen to enforce such bans.

President Kagame has made several Policy statements over the years, which has seen the African Country make giants strides in several areas of it’s economy. And the country is fast becoming a major tourist attraction.
