Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-General Tukur Buratai, has given a pass mark to Operation Python Dance which started three years ago.

Buratai said the operation has successfully curtailed the spread of insecurity in Nigeria. The army boss made the remarks in Birnin Kebbi when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State.

According to him, apart from providing an opportunity to retrain Nigerian soldiers, the exercise also gives them an avenue to respond to war situations.

In the same vein Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State has commended the Nigerian Army on its fight against insurgency in the country.
