Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff Thumbs Up Operation Python Dance…
Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-General Tukur Buratai, has given a pass mark to Operation Python Dance which started three years ago.
Buratai said the operation has successfully curtailed the spread of insecurity in Nigeria. The army boss made the remarks in Birnin Kebbi when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State.
According to him, apart from providing an opportunity to retrain Nigerian soldiers, the exercise also gives them an avenue to respond to war situations.
In the same vein Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State has commended the Nigerian Army on its fight against insurgency in the country.

Dankwambo represented by his deputy, Charles Iliya, gave the commendation at the 2019 Armed Forces Remembrance Day, Emblem Appeal Fund and Laying of Wreath, held in Gombe today.
He called on the Nigerian Legion, Gombe State chapter, to assist in tackling the security challenges in the local government areas in the state, by reporting suspicious persons to security agencies.
