2019 Election : SDP confirms new running mate for Donald Duke

The Social Democratic Party has confirmed that Shehu Musa Gabam who is the party’s National Secretary will be the running mate to Donald Duke for the 2019 Presidential election which comes less than 24 hours Dr. Mohammed Junaid, stood down as the vice presidential candidate.

SDP National Publicity Secretary, Alfa Mohammed, who gave the confirmation on Thursday in Abuja said the consensus was that Junaid should step down as running mate to the SDP Presidential Candidate, Donald Duke, for strategic reasons.

Muhammed said there is no rift between Junaid and the party and he is remains one of the respected leaders in the SDP.
