Cardi B Split From Husband,Offset

American female rapper, Cardi B announced that she and fellow rapper Offset have put an end to their relationship after being married for just over a year. The 26-year-old rapper from New York announced this via her Instagram page on Tuesday evening

In the Instagram video, Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar said people have been questioning the status of their relationship for a while and she finally decided to say this.
“So everybody [has] been bugging me and everything and you know, I’ve been trying to work things out with my baby-father for a hot minute now, and we’re really good friends and you know we’re really good business partners, and you know he’s always someone that I run to talk to and we got a lot of love for each other, but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time, it’s nobody’s fault… I guess we just grew out of love”. “We’re not together any more. I don’t know, it might take time to get a divorce.” She concluded: “I’m going to always have a lot of love for him because he is my daughter’s father, and… yeah.”

Cardi worked with Migos when she appeared on their lead single “MotoSport,” from their third album Culture II, which was released last year. The duo started dating early 2017. In June this year, Cardi B confirmed on social media that the pair had secretly married in September 2017. Offset, who is a member of hip-hop and trap music trio Migos, proposed to the rapper on stage at a concert in Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia in October 2017. The couple have a five-month-old daughter together named Kulture Kiari Cephus.

Offset responded to Cardi’s Instagram video about their breakup, with a comment that said: “Y’all won.”
